Kinda wondered that myself for aftermarket wheels. I say that as my 99's lug are not tapered and the wheel can move considerably unless sitting over the machined hub lip. NO way could you use lug centrics on mine anyhow. I used to be the center hold was the same on all 3/4+ ton trucks but IIRC dodge screwed that up back in the 80ies.
You can buy any aftermarket wheel, they'll just have to order the center adapter to go from whatever ID the wheel has to the SD OD of the hub. Very common on aftermarket wheels for any car these days, too expensive to make wheels with just the right center hub for x make, then same wheel with hub for y make, so you just make a large center hub and use the filler donut to adapt it for the perfect fit.. Get nice aluminum ones, don't settle for plastic.
