How much damage did I do?
06 ford explorer, was trying to find out if wireing harness to transmission solenoid was damaged (OBD II said that it was a possibility) but mistakenly put ratchet on shift selector (attached to shift cable) attempted to remove the bolt and moved it back about 1 inch and heard a snap now will only drive forward, can push back in N

Just got to this thread. Haven't seen an answer to my post in the other thread and no new posts in the "Explorer, Sport Trac, Mountaineer & Aviator" and/or "Clutch, Transmission, Differential, Axle & Transfer Case" forums.
