Looking at a '95 Ranger XLT LB 2WD for my son. It has 100600 miles and no AC. Rear window slider, power steering. Any problems areas I should look at for this truck?? Needs tires, coolant flush/change, brake fliud, serp belt. What about fair price for a "good" condition for the rust belt of NE Ohio?
i was shocked when i found out how much mine is worth versus what im paying for it. but i figuerd it would be twice as much for a new one and these things last forever if you take care of them.
This summer I help my sons friend by a 94 Ranger XLT 2WD, 5sp extended cab in great mechanical shape (paint was cracking) with 102K miles for $2,500, it had no A/C but did have a sliding rear window. I did put on two tires and two shocks, so for $2800 he has a great truck.
I also recently purchased a 96 XLT 4wd extended cab with a/c 4.0L 5sp with 139K miles on int for $2,500, this one only need a thermostat and a new accessory belt.
