Auto dimming passenger mirror?

Auto dimming passenger mirror?
I've only had my 24 king ranch for a couple of days now. Tonight I noticed that the lights in my passenger mirror looked awful bright. These should be auto dimming correct? My 17 king ranch had auto dimming passenger and rear view mirrors.
I can not find anything anywhere that lists them as such though. I am going to be pretty upset if Ford cheaper out of this feature in a $80k+ truck

As far as I know the Super Duty has never had auto dimming side mirrors with any trim. Just the rear view mirror.

Maybe Ford changed the OE tint level on the door glass.

My 2017 Lariat was not dimming as well as my 2023 Limited.

My Platinum had it, I believe. I thought the upper trims have had it for a while. If not, Ford is in the last century with that lack of option. Maybe I'm thinking of another non-Ford truck I've had with that feature.

Time to do some investigating... :-)

My Limited sticker said Mirror Auto Dimming but that only works for rear view mirror. my driver and passenger side never dimming.

After digging around some, I found the Super Duty trucks DO NOT have any auto-dimming side mirrors. I thought my 2017 Platinum did, but I guess not. You'd think they'd have implemented this by now, since even some basic sedans have this feature.

I like having auto dimming side mirrors, especially on the driver's side tow mirror. Probably a bean-counter measure like many minor features that we don't get or that get removed.

My 2014 Subaru has auto dimming for all mirrors and it is a great feature. Wish my 22 450 had them.
