Rings and bearings, timing gear set, frost plugs and gaskets. Going to use the crank from the first engine I tore done which is machined .010 under and standard rings for the block from the second engine. Just bought a ball hone to dress the cylinders as there is still evidence of the original cross hatching in all the cylinders..not sure when I'll get around to assembling it because with this cold freezing temperatures we have now I have no place I can thoroughly wash it..

John, Was thinking about your the final look of your project. How bout a roundel with a maple leaf & "Canada's Finest Towing" surrounding it on the door?
In local weather news, a balmy 14* (F) this morning.
We got a bout 2-1/2 hours of light sleet here last night. Results were predictable.
This morning there was a 12 car, 3 semi wreck just before what I call our "Talladega Turn" on I-20 near downtown.
Fortunately no deaths.
One more night, Wed we get above freezing during the day.
In local weather news, a balmy 14* (F) this morning.
We got a bout 2-1/2 hours of light sleet here last night. Results were predictable.

We might have 60s today. Also might have flood.
2-5 inches of rain depending on how the front breaks passing over the central part of the state.
They keep saying "drought busting"... but it sounds like BS.

It's amazing. There is in Jxn a (very old) RR overpass in the downtown area.
Been there for multiple decades.
There is a GREAT BIG yellow DEPTH gauge where the street dips.
Whenever the need arises for a "flood" image from the deep south, they just pull out the latest moron pics of of these idiots trying to go under this trestle.
Makes the national news every time.
