More FordPass BS

I went to sign into Ford Service Info at motorcraftservice.com the other day. I was directed to change my username/password and advised that those credentials would now be used across all the Ford places that I need to log into. Like the Ford Owner site and FordPass.
So I changed the username/password. It lets me log in. Then it says that activation is pending once an authorized user approves it. It's like I'm a secondary user on my own damned account. When I do log into the Ford Owner site I see that the FordPass points that I had are now at zero.
And of course now that I changed the credentials the old sign in info no longer works. A Facebook message to them got me a quick response from an actual person but it only gave me a phone number to call. Another post Christmas mission I guess. FordPass and in general everything Ford does in the online world always turns into problems.

try getting into the truck, with it running then try to log in while also paying attention to sync.

Try to go to the apps folder and click on ford pass.

No go. The apps folder only told me that an app had to be running on the device to be accessed by the truck. And FordPass was definitely logged into. But of course still in the "waiting for authorized user approval" mode.

All set again. Had to wipe everything out of the truck head unit, remove truck from FordPass app and begin anew.

Did your points come back after the wipe?

Not yet. I'll give it a day or two. Fortunately I'd already used most of them. I think I was down to around 10,000.
Surprisingly the FordPass "guides" on the phone gave me the correct instructions right away.
