I have an 83 F250 300 inline 6 and C6 i am looking to swap to 4X4 and also manual transmission. Has anyone used the below conversion kit to swap a Dana 60 axle into there bullnose. It seems like it will be a bolt on kit for the leaf springs. I will still need the springs, axle, transmission, transfer case, drive shafts, 4x4 floor hump?, bellhousing, clutch linkage, petal assembly AND PROBABLY MORE! Please weigh you thoughts. YES I KNOW CAB SWAPPNG IS EASIER! this is a southern truck and I'm in Vermont so not a lot of clean frames around me.
I have never done it, but there is plenty of conversions on the internet. Here is another company that has sold a kit like this for many years. It is listed as a 1985-up kit because it's mainly a shackle reversal kit. But you can use it on the earlier trucks with the TTB if the TTB brackets are removed. You will probably have to remove your spring towers on your 2wd. I see in the description they have a set of plates for a 2wd conversion. Not sure what that is all about but I am sure you can figure it out. Here is the link.
Being the bodys and frame rust on the truck up there it might be worth it to but a full truck with the needed parts,

For your project then sell or scrap what you dont need / want.
