At what amount of lift do you guys think the track bar relocation bracket is a must-have? Is it thought that there's a certain point where it's just necessary? I did the smallest level kit I could get at 1.5 inches.
Thanks guys. The axle is off center but it's not horrible. I think I'll just wait until the track bar bushings are ready to be replaced and then thrown an adjustable bar in there.
Reason I asked though is that I had some tires and wheels mounted on the truck Tuesday and ever since then the truck pulls to the left just a little. The wheels are +12 offset so nothing crazy. The tires are 33x12.50 and they're an aggressive A/T. Again, nothing crazy. But it pulls left some now, and it wasn't doing that on the stock wheels/tires. I'm just trying to determine why the truck is showing a tendency to dive left. It's starting to look like it's the tires. But I just thought maybe it's a combo of the wider tires and axle being slightly off-center to the left now.
Check the tire air pressure, front left could be lower than the right....this will cause it to pull left. I doubt it is a left brake caliper hung up, if it was it would have been doing this before hand.
everyones comments are valid....
but also....if you have the plow packge....your springs put you higher 3/4 to 1", so if you add 1.5, theres a new number to think about.
see if you can notice a difference on axle position left side vs right
track bar bracket (with perfectly fine OEM track bar and the ball joints aren't clapped out) > then adjustable track bar.
maintains OEM geometry, less money, same result. Yes i've done both. was chasing a clunk, thought it was the OEM track bar.
some adjustable track bars are too long even for an 1.5" kit anyways.
I have a 1.5 kit on my heavy azz king ranch 6.7 (2017) and your only real option is an adjustable track bar. I got one off of Amazon, forget the brand but its set all the way tight and works as advertised for a 1.5” + lift.
The axle was off center without it. I wanted the RC coils specifically with 1.5” and this the trackbar is a mod that I felt was necessary.
It drives great.
I do agree with your assessment if you have a tight newer front end just go with the bracket if you do a 2” or 2.5” level. They may be good up to 3 inches?
definitely go with an adjustable track- will help with centering axle, improve bump steer as the track bar and drag link stay closer in angle. There is no need to worry about threads. Threads exist everywhere already and the track bars are no different.

Rotate the fronts to the rear and see if the pull goes away. If it does you have a tire exhibiting "radial pull".
