valve cover gaskets
Does anyone have any information where to get extra thick valve cover gaskets for a 460. I am having a problem with the rockers hitting the valve covers. I am using a little over stock lift cam. I have rebuilt 2 460's with the same lift cam and have had the same problem with both of them. I cured the first one with a thick set of gaskets, but cannot relocate because they came in a rebuild set. Figured this would be cheaper than a set of tall valve covers.

Just double up gaskets, take two gaskets & a tube of yellow 3M weather strip cement glue them together, when good and tacky take alittle longer bolt and that should give you alittle more clearance.
