Most useful scanner

For my 1996 Ford F250 7.3L would be nice to also be able to check injectors and glow plugs.

But it will tell me if I have a injector issue? Just spent to much time diagnosing a bad wire under the valve cover to my number 5 injector. Had a guy with the right scanner find it in two minutes. I want to be able to diagnose any problems. And the setup you recommend here will do that?

That scanner can tell if an injector is not seen by the IDM
The PCM will toss a code that it can read if injector coil/wiring is open or shorted out
can also look at IPR% duty to see if injection system is leaking internally.

Would a older IPAd Pro 12.9" work to download the info to access the codes. Sorry I'm not much up on this stuff this is cheap and I can just use it for scanning and getting codes?
