Curious as to what members think is the best type of undercoating? I have a 2016 from Florida. Just recently moved to Ohio and want to protect it.
Thanks,
Similar situation... I just bought my 2019 F250 out of Arizona had it shipped to northern Michigan.
I just did mine with CorrosionX products. 95% of it was with "Extended Duty" (XD), and used "Heavy Duty" (HD) where I didn't mind the mess (mostly the hitch receiver & spare tire hardware). XD is much thicker than "plain" CorrosionX so it leaves a good film build, but still sprays well and levels/creeps over time so you get consistent coverage. HD is much thicker and doesn't really level itself or creep at all. I bought a gallon of XD and used about half of it with a spray gun. I used 1 aerosol can of HD.
That being said, if I wanted something less expensive that would have been easier to source locally I'd have been fine with Fluid Film or Surface Shield.
I'm sorry y'all have to go through all of that. I own one vehicle that grew up in the Northeast. The rust is awful, but it got out before there were major frame issues!
Someday I'll frame-off it and probably find out it's worse than I think.
