Best thing if you want to start from square one is to find a complete unmolested truck and remove entire wire harness and gauge panel. Everyone used to want gauge panel trucks as did I. But in all honesty a red light on oil and charge will catch your eye quicker than a gauge on a long term vehicle.

That’s why I always preferred having both.
I like to be able to look at something and tell exactly what it’s doing at the moment, but a nice little red warning light to get my attention at those other times is a real money saver!

Not complaining either way really, just glad there isn't a "CHECK ENGINE" Light, no silly computers here...unless you count the duraspark box....kinda not really....
