New Canadian here!

Hey all! I stumbled across the site looking for some insight and figured it’d be a good one to join! I’m 33 from rural Alberta, Canada. Always been a ford fan. My father was a car salesman for years, most memorable were for Ford. He only sold them though haha. He was a smart man but not a very handy one 😂. He unfortunately passed just shy of ten years ago. My little brother is now a Ford master tech. I only really started to learn and work on my own vehicle this year. I sold my trusty and reliable mom car (2009 flex) after 2 years with it in a high market so I could buy a 2002 Lincoln Navigator with only 131,000kms. Some cosmetic dings but overall dang good exterior shape for the year. He had a few little demons to work out but I figured them out like 02 sensors, some suspension & steering work. I’ve done some cosmetic stuff - dash and interior lights and some light body work and painting. Still lots to learn to tackle a few crappy spots the body. Through it I’ve felt a lot closer to my old man and am super enjoying the journey of learning!

In addition to my Navigator we also own a 2013 F-150 ecoboost (300,000kms) and a 1998 ford escort zx2 with only 163,000kms.
