I have some 20 inch aftermarket wheels that don't have a really drastic offset, and I have been running 37s with zero issues.
now I'm needing tires, thought damn, 38s will fit. They do, but slightly rub on the control arm when turning really sharp, the tire turning out hits the control arm, tire turning in, rubs on the swaybar, again its under tight turn.. I was contemplating buying little wheel spacers, but I honestly think I'm going to live with the rub, I feel it'll be safer, and I'll go back to 37s in a few years..
. But my concern is calibration, should I not worry about it? I use my phone for GPS, but I'm more concerned about shift points, specially during towing.. am I better off leaving it alone or trying to calibrate for the new 38s... anyone have experience with this?
I have a 17 250 with a 6 inch pro comp lift
