1971 LN600 VIN

Hello, I just bought a 1971 LN600 and am trying to get as much info as I can about the truck. Vin is N60DVL12946
I'm redoing the brakes and need to find proper instructions and how to's. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm out of town until next week. Do you have a shop manual? You can download them or find paper copies on line.

you might be able to find a ford shop manual on EBAY.also post the warranty plate info ,that can help.

I'm giving you your own thread for the truck for clarity if you have further questions. As said above, the warranty plate will give axle and other codes which will help you find the right brake parts.

N60DVL12946

N60 = LN600 gas

D = 330 2V HD FT gas V8

V = Kentucky Truck Plant

L12946 = 1971 numerical series, February 1971 production
