Currently running the original wrangler kevlar 275/70r18 AT tires. It's time to replace.
f250 CCLB 6.7 - used as daily driver (maybe once a week I work from home) and then towing camper. 99% is all on road. hay season is then driving into dry hayfield to load bales.
Southwest Ohio - snow can happen but is rare. ice too. crews take care of roads fairly well here unless it's a big multi state storm!
Based on reviews, I think I'm going to go with the continental terraincontact HT or AT tires. Was thinking HT but wondering if I'll hate the look compared to the AT. I've also ready that because AT tires have larger and thicker pads, it can not feel as "stable" when towing heavy as those pads can wiggle slightly - not that I've ever noticed before however.
I've got my wragler's aired down now to 60 front and 55 rear for a smoother empty ride. air up to 70/80 when towing heavy.
Anyone running HT tires willing to post pics and thoughts?
I'm in the same boat with same size and am leaning towards the Goodyear Ultraterrain a/t. I do not have any experience with the continentals. I am currently running the goodyear kevlars at 60psi all the way around
I'm glad someone posted this. I was going to but thought better.
Still researching, but want all my ducks in a row.
Only different is these will be for a F350 SRW in an mild A/T configuration. No extra heavy hauling/towing. Not much offroad.
This is my daily commuter, so being quite is also important.
My biggest issue is all the premature wearing posts/reviews/videos out there.
Looking at the following in a 35x12.5x 20 LT or 37x12.5x20LT with the 37" the preferred.
In no order.
Nitto Recon Grappler
Copper AT3
Toyo Open Country AT3
Yokohama Geolandar X-AT
Bottom line is, going more for looks then function, but still want a quite, long lasting tire that looks aggressive.
Thoughts?

My stock wranglers did great on everything but snow 39k on them tow 15k fithwheel . Winter is coming in Michigan otherwise i would run them another summer .
Had 295x70x18 wildpeak at3w installed yesterday every review i have seen rates them pretty high we shall see .
Good time for this thread. I also pulled a set of factory Goodyear Kelvar LT 275 70 18 tires off my 2021 Super Duty Diesel. Running in the 4 corners of Colorado on dirt roads & forest service roads with my 10,000 lb RV trailer. Had these tires 3/4 wore out at just 13,000 miles. With winter coming around here no way was I going skate around on these wore out racing slicks. Some people might here get higher mileage on these tires running on asphalt. But no way where I drive. So, I considered several different brands & choices. I wanted a little bit more aggressive AT tire. For me it came down to these 3: The new General Grabber ATX, Toyo AT3's, & Falken Wild AT3's. I put a set of Falkens Mt's on my 2000 Super Duty Plow truck a year & half ago. And was very impressed how they rode down the hwy. And did not shake the old truck. They also grip the heavy snow when I am plowing as I only chain the rears.
2 days ago I made the choice & had the local speed shop where I trade at mount up the Falkens AT3's. I was looking for a tire that didn't make the truck ride harsh, but delivered way more traction than the Goodyears. And after driving the truck 100-150 miles or so, Very impressed. The truck rides as good as new, the tires look stud even a little wider than the old ones. They drive straight down the road & not a single vibration. I think I made the right choice. It will be fun when we get some snow on our county roads so I can really try them out. It took the guy balancing them 2 hours. He really took his time & dialed them in perfect. They mount alot of truck tires there, Jeeps & what not with big huge tires. So they are very good at it. I would also say spend your money & buy what you want. Its a free country. If you want Goodyears then buy Goodyears. Don't listen to the criers out there. Just send them a crying hankie.
Hope that you enjoyed my tire review. I would buy the same ones again tomorrow.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Goodyear Kevlar's that came on my 2017 PSD - and I got nearly 50k miles out of them, never had an issue, not one. They were quite, smooth, good traction on-road / off-road. They were balanced. Zero complaints. But there are too many other tire makers out there. For me to support a company that is openly discriminatory goes against my nature. I'll find another company to support, it's that easy. We have such a short memory these days.
That is from over 3 years ago. The "boycott" never gained any traction (pun intended).
Maybe for some, but Coke did the same thing, their stance meant something to me, haven’t bought a Coke product since. Not a drinker but the Bud Lite thing meant something to people. Target’s stance - I nor my family has been back to their store. My aim is to support companies that reflect the same values that I do. Does it make it harder to shop, yes. Am I more mindful, yes. Do I make an impact, nope. But I feel better about spending my hard earned dollar.
Gee am I missing something here? I thought that this was "Tire thread".
Shallow & Boring people always ruin everything.
I guess they are confusing me with somebody who gives a shat who cares about their opinion.
I wish that I would have bought Goodyear ties now.
Have a nice day.
