Forums ... bringing people together!
I can't help but notice that many of us using forums probably get more than we intend from them.
Info, good news, bad news and surprises.
I want to compliment FTE for being that resource which afforded me all of the above ... most of all ... the surprises.
From these (surprises) I have made a few great new friends and the coolest is the hooking up with people across the nation that I have shared interests and experiences with.
A couple of examples ... talk to a guy in upstate N.Y. that knew of a tiny town which I was in, for a similar (legal) reason and we probably crossed paths and now realize that; and another (out there in the military) I meet in a thread ends up coming from the exact community I live in and we know the same people, though we never met --- cool!
I am glad to be meeting these fine people and making great new friends --- one from only 20 minutes away, we talk daily now.
Tiny planet, eh?
What unique experiences have you had?
Care to share them?

I look forward to someday getting to meet some of the bigshots in person (Ken/Webmaster, Mil1ion, Torque1st, Theologian, Racerguy, TOUGHLover, as well as most of the jokers over in the Expedition Forum)
Good people, good times, good trucks!
XXL
This place (Maine) is a chevy haven. Everybody has one. Its disgusting. I hear you can't be a true mainer and graduate from highschool. How true that is. I meet some of the dumbest people out here in the sticks. Most of the people from the cities are very nice folk.
For example, I got stuck last night, and I had to call 7 people before I could get someone to come pull the exploder out. 6 of them refused to pull it out, because it was a Ford, Im not joking, they asked me on the phone if it was the explorer. I finally got someone with a Dodge 1500 with a 318 to come give us a yank. Did a marvelous job, I have new respect for pre 2001 dodge trucks. Granted my 79 could have done the same thing, but the lack of 4x4 kinda makes it hard to get in as far as we were.
Thanks to the Mopar guy you're home ... go figure?!
Well keep your hopes up ... Ford rules, the FTE group rocks and all is right with the world.
Did I really say that?
