I would rather have no snow yet so the cold can get frost into the ground. The ground has a little bit in the top. Plus it is not likely this snow will stay for the season. Probably get a melt in the next month. This snow would make an awesome base if it does stick around.

Good morning Jay and Jim! We made it to Tuesday. Cold start is right Jay. It's in the single digits this morning. Suppose to warm up pretty nicely today though.
