Hello, I am looking to get help with a proportioning valve part. I recently purchased this truck and have torn apart the brake system. I got to this valve and cant seem to find a single pin brake pressure switch? They all seem to be two pin. The old switch doesnt have any spring movement anymore.
Assuming that your truck is a '67 year vehicle, I believe that C7AZ-2B264-A is the part number for the switch that you are looking for. Searching thru all of the parts suppliers that I use, yielded nothing at all. Sorry....
Had some spare time, took a look at LMC, (I don't usually look at their products), and found on page 158 of their catalog, a drawing of a switch that looks like it only has a single post for the connector to hook up with.
It is part # 47-0904 but if I was you, I'd be calling them to confirm this before ordering it. Good luck!
AFAIK the block is not proportioning, its only purpose is to show that pressure is off on one side or the other to trip the brake light on the dash. The block functions normally even if the piston is all the way to one side or another.
Im planning on deleting mine after redoing it and just making a T for the fronts, single for the rear, straight out of the MC.
My pressures are off because of a dana60 front and sterling rear but seems to brake fine…

Is it a seized pin, or is it loose with no spring pressure? I had one that was seized and I just soaked it in Seafoam Deep Creep and it loosened up. If it didn't free up, my Plan B was to use the available 2 wire switch and connect to one terminal. On 68's forward the second wire connects to a proving circuit to flash the brake warning light only when cranking. You may already know this. Some who knows better may chime in to comment if my Plan B could work.
