Here's a pic of the 2 relays (the right side of the pic is the front of the truck for orientation)
Of the two brown relays, the on one the left is the GPR. The other is the AIH relay.

and what does aih stand for
I just got a 2000 f250 with the 7.3 went to start it and the block heater is not warm I have a magnetic heater on it now but when I cycle key I don't hear a relay click

this truck has only 1 relay I am assuming it is a glow plug relay and I am not getting any power coming out of it

Your truck (like many others and all Excursions) has the California emissions package. The One relay you refer to is the AIH relay and the other bigger one (the one in the link), is a Glow Plug Control Module. I'll post a pick & a link that explains it better. What are you trying to test ? Glow plugs?

AIH- Air Intake Heater. Not all versions have it. My Early 99 don't. A lot of people delete it.
-Glow Plug Relay-
Buy 2 if aftermarket and keep in toolbox,you'll change more than your underwear. I went stancore from allied last month and lovin it thus far.
If never did GP-Glow Plugs they or Under Valve cover wire harness goes bad. (a harness inside VC that powers each GP. Also check for corrosion on the plug on the top of each VC. Carfully unplug and look at connectors.
After GP work correctly if you still have issues with cold starts try 5w-40 CJ4 rated oil. 15w is thick @ 70* let alone 10*. Helped mine but I now know my hpop is weak.

Sorry to bring up the past, but is this the correct way to mount and wire the cheapo GPR with the incorrect mounting plate? I just bought one from Amazon and not sure if I put the leads on the right terminals.
