2001 psd shutting off
I have a 2001 psd that just started shuttimg off with no warning. It did not miss or lose power when it did this. It was hard to start back and once it did it would run until it started to warm up and then it would shut off again. Ideas needed.

If whilst doing this, the rev counter fails to move, the culprit is the CPS - buy one from International, who made the engine, not Ford, as they charge a lot more for it. I do not doubt that the folk who can remember the IH part number will post it soon.

Thanks Theo and one of six this is where I will start and hopfully it will fix the problem. I was reading more posts and this seems to be a common problem. Thanks again for the help!!!

Missing
I have a 2000 PSD that is starting to miss while just driving down the road. I feels and sounds like the engine just quit and then started back up instantly. Quite a shocker when it happens. You think you had run over something. Does anyone think that it could be this cam sensor thing?
