Guys let me know if you meetup in Imperial. My old rental prop was in Imperial and I'm still over that way often as I still have access to my old building where I've been restoring gas pump. Unfortunately there's not much in the way of decent restaurants there, other than gianino's italian close to I-55
Dave2 As far as I know it's just us meeting up and I don't think it's exclusive. Problem is Rich isn't at the 100% sure mark yet.
Mike, I'm enjoying the nice weather for the 2 of us. I just came in from being outside since 9ish. Gotta hydrate a bit and I'll head back out.
unboxed the hood and am pleasantly surprised there's no dings or scratches but it was really packaged well. I'm in the process of fitting the front tilt mechanism on it.
I went out and bought new turn signals and tail lights for the dump truck. $150 worth! I have the fender extensions reassembled and back on the truck and the hood reassembled minus the headlights. As soon as more people come home, we'll muscle it back in to place.
Go Alan Go Alan. I know I'd never make it as a cheerleader, looks aren't everything.
Hey Chip have you got a source for a PC Board for a Lincoln 140 Weld PAC HD? OBTW Got my broke welder back finally. Their repair quote was more than I paid for the thing. Almost $800. Data Plate Receipt from repair place
Well I am still on for this Friday 10th to be heading to Imperial in the morning time frame. Ed and I will hit Mc'D for some coffee/b-fast and then hit the road that way. Probably will not get there until noon, should not have to be in Imperial more than 30 min.
So about a 3.5 to 4 hr drive, (one way drive) heading to a gun/jewelry pawn shop in Imperial, MO. For a just have to have item......don't ask. AND no I am NOT buying a Barrett 50 cal rifle. Lol
What about meeting for late lunch (after the lunch rush) at Ruby Tuesday at 942 Meramec Station Rd, Valley Park, MO 63088 that is at the I-44 and Hwy 141 intersection? My location will be 30 min from that place to eat. BJ, Dave2 (who else in the area?), you all know the area, what ya think?
Of course my plans can crash down Thursday evening.
Rich apparently you have mistaken me as a local. I've never been down that way. Well I do drive down 55. I think it's more in Dave2's backyard. Don't get me wrong I'm glad to meet just wouldn't have a recommendation for ANYTHING around the area. For that matter I couldn't give ya many recommendations for here in Wentzville.
looks good alan.... thought about swinging by when i was leaving springfield.. i dont think i would of been much help anyway.. only thing i would be any good at is being a anchor well maybe a support brace... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
been another long day... sams club was a bust with my low level membership they wont even let me in the store until after 10:00 and my dr appoitment was at 10:30 so that was a bust..
anyone have a few spare 16" 5 on 5-1/2 wheels.. i need to move my dodge van and the ford 15" 5 on 5 1/2 i took off my van wont work i less i remove the brakes completely.. although stopping is not that important.... but it would be a nice touch...
Rich, IF y'all wanna meet somewhere on THIS side of the river, I'd be glad to join y'all & meet up. I've met Col. B.J. at a car show at least once that I can recall. As for chow, we've got Cracker Barrel, Denny's, & a Golden Coral (buffet) depending on what you want. There's a place (don't think I've been in since they moved) that used to call themselves "Home Style - I THINK or something like that). Of course, we've got the usual fast food places too.
Well maybe that Sugarfire44 BBQ place (next to Ruby Tuesday) might be worth a try? Pat I am going to stay south of St Louis "proper", and be only as far north as I270/I255 and that is just to meet at the I 44/144 area, just if some one wants to meet up for lunch.
Other wise it is get up there, get what I need to do and get out of there. And then of course stop by Eureka for some White Castles for Penny and then get back to my neck of the woods. If I am to far south for you guys I understand.
Alan the ol black truck is looking good, real good.
RC I do not have any 16" 5 on 5.5 at all.
We are getting the granddaughter tomorrow night for the weekend.. so I wonder how much Ford truck/Bronco work I am going to get done this weekend. ZERO, but that's ok because she is awesome to have around. Lol
Good evening youins, Col BJ, my Friday is booked in the Missouri capitol village, sorry buddy.
Just thought on an outside chance you might be over this way.
Rich, Sugarfire is a chain in the area and while their BBQ isn't to die for it's pretty good. We've got one here in Wentzville that I've taken out of town visitors to. Much better than Bandana's in my opinion.
We have a Bandana's in Spg and I made the mistake of trying it once....Pass. If we can link up at some place that is giving veteran's a discounted meal, I am all about supporting that business'.
Dave 2 maybe if BJ and Pat decide to stay up northerly, maybe we can link up for a howdy and a handshake.

Rich, doubt if I'll be able to make it. The bridge thing is gonna prevent it. IF you do ever make it across the river & up near I-70 or I-64/Hwy. 40 (was no I-64 east of Limburger/Hwy. 61/67 when I moved in here, it was Hwy. 40. I still call it that.) & feel like meeting up, lemme know. Good chance I'll be free.
