Picked up last Thursday and spent some time driving around the rust belt visiting some family. 2200 miles on it this past week. Drives like a dream. Ready to take it camping in a couple weeks. First picture at Granger and second at home after I installed the MX4.
Visited this thread because yesterday I saw an all black Ford truck with different finishes of bodywork mashed together on the sides. Never saw anything like it before. Looked like the entire sides were covered with fancy plastic trims.
Wasn’t planning on getting one but my son wanted to buy my current truck, a ‘20 F-350 Platinum. Being the good dad I am, I made the sacrifice and bought a new one. Only had 80k miles a the ‘20 and loved it. The new one ain’t bad either. Both trucks pretty much identical except the ‘24 is a HO. For all that matters. I’ve towed my enclosed trailer about 30k miles with this truck, 3 trips to Utah & Az along with trips to W Va, Tn & Mi. I’ve never had to wish it had more power. I’ve yet to tow anything but a small dump trailer with the new truck but I am sure it will be sufficient for my needs.
