I have 2. Motorola and AA Wireless. AA Wireless is a little bit tricker to set up whereas Motorola is just plug in. For my 17 F250, I prefer the AA Wireless simply because the cable is long enough to put inside that drawer that is under the USB Ports. Also it can be updated so if something new comes along, they can make adjustments. For the Motorola, it is a little more simple but if updates are needed, well..... Also the cable is shorter so you probably need an extension cord to make it work since you should NOT hang wires and the dongle from the USB Port. Do you have a specific question? They both connect as well but for the truck, AA Wireless.

Thanks. Some seem to take a little bit of time to connect. Some seem to not age well or are hard to configure. How long have you had them and would you hesitate to get it again. I Appreciate the feedback.

The AA Wireless is my recommended one for the F250 because of the wire length for the spring loaded cubby hole with a cut out slot, if you have it. Truck sits outside and it has weathered well so far.

I've had it for over a year and would buy it again if I need one. With it having software upgrade ability, buy it. Not too difficult to install on my Android phone.

Will the AA box fit in the cubby under the USB ports on the bench seat trucks?

Yeah, I have contemplated the AA wireless but I on long trips I have to plug my phone in because of the battery drain by AA on the phone so it kinda defeats the purpose.... For short trips around town - I get it.

Been using AAWireless for about 9 months using in the same spot everyone else. I also have the builtright bracket with ram mount so I have everything pretty close. I put a high speed USB charger in the console and just run a wire that's long enough to follow the console and dash. It's a dual so the wife can charge hers too but nothing is hanging out of the dash ports when entering/exiting/throwing bags around the front seat. For really short trips or if I'll be able to hit a charger soon I don't even bother

I've been wanting the AA wireless as well, but for some reason their online store won't send to Canada and neither will Amazon.com. The Black Friday price is attractive, but just can't get my hands on it.

Late to the show on this. But acquired the aawireless second generation dongle this week. Don't think setup could get any simpler. Just connecting another bluetooth device. I had gotten where I like the wireless connection for my android phone to my wife's 2025 Explorer and recently went to unlimited internet on my phone so plan to use google maps on my truck for navigation. Still using sirius for music. Some tweaking to do in the android auto app on the phone but works fine. Had to use the media button on the steering wheel this morning to switch to music as the phone's news app had taken over my audio. No big deal.

Android wireless

I had the AA wireless for 1.5 years in my Titan, then it started going bad, I got this on Amazon, havent put it in the new truck 2022 250 SD, cause it has the wireless android, but factory wireless on the new truck appears buggy with Waze, so might give it a try..It quick connects and appears to be good..

AA wireless ever since it was a crowd funded device, nothing else was available.

Not useful on long trips as the phone battery will die without being plugged in.

You are transmitting data making your phone a router essentially so it will take a bit of power. With the QI2 charger, it should be fine.
