Won't start
My 79 has been sitting 2 or 3 months. I've charged battery, but all it does is turn over until battery needs to be charged again. I've only ran non ethanol gas. Positive cable from solenoid to battery get hot. Any suggestions?

Sorry I hadn't got back sooner. I charged battery all the way full, and it started. I drove around and let it run for 20 or 25 minutes. It started again this morning. Thanks for advice on battery cable. And thanks everyone for responding.
