Frankenstein truck
Hello all, from Ontario Canada.I just bought what appears to be a 1979 F100 longbed,300 IL6. 4sp manual. Upon closer inspection once home, the cab is in good shape but was an automatic originally.The frame is from a 78 f150 and in excellent shape{sandblasted and painted}.THe 8ft box is from another 79 f100, in poor shape .The 1bl 300 il6 runs great, origins unknown... and so the journey begins.

Hello, and welcome to the forum! I too have a "frankentruck". The frame is a '67 and the cab is from a '68-'72. The bed? Who knows. The 300 engine is out of an '81 and the 4r70w transmission is something I added lol.
