Sorry for your pain, but it will be better in the long run . Hang in there. It will get better and then when the pain of surgery goes away you'll notice your old shoulder pain is gone.

Yeah…stay away from oxy, that stuff will ruin your life.

Best of luck with the healing process.

Thoughts and prayers to you old friend! I sure hope your pain fades fast!

You'll be good as new (well, maybe slightly used) before too long

I'm just saying it again because you need to hear it: BE CAREFUL AND STAY AWAY FROM PAINKILLERS.

Those damn things ruin peoples lives.

Hang in there. I know how it feels. I had reverse shoulder replacement done last November. It takes a little while but make sure to do therapy everyday. Best of luck

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. I had a complete shoulder. Replacement 2021. Not a shred of pain since the day of surgery. At University of Michigan they give you a small pain device good for 3 days and then you disconnect it and throw it away.
went to pt for a few weeks to stretch the muscles and no pain since.
Stay way from the oxycodones, mind altering and sometimes deadly.

I've never had major surgery, knock on wood, but I'm wishing you a speedy and complete recovery. From what I've been told DON'T skimp on therapy. Everyone I know that did wished they would have.

No major surgery? I don't know how old you are BJ, but You're like a 68 year old friend of mine. He's had no surgeries. I call him a freak of nature . I am 68 and I've had 13 from a tonsillectomy as a 5 year old to my shoulder replacement in 2020. My knee replacement on Monday will make it 14.

I'm almost 71 Abe. I did have a piece of my lung removed in 2010 because they thought it was cancer but it was a false alarm so I guess I did have kinda a major surgery. There was no therapy after the surgery, just a dollar bill length scar.
I've had several broken bones, dislocated my shoulder, acute pancreatitis and more cuts, stiches, smashes, bumps and bruises than I care to remember. But all in all I'm just as I came outta the womb, well less that piece of lung. No Chinese stuff for me.

LOL, BJ. All my blood work and heart are good. I've never had a broken bone but I've got osteoarthritis and condrocalcinosus, a form of arthritis . As one of my buddies said after I had my shoulder replaced, "Your engine is good, tranny is good and sheet metal is pretty good but your chassis and suspension are bad and wearing out."

If a couple ball joints and a tie rod end is all you need to keep on truckin', that's doin pretty good. Way better than an engine transplant.
