Howdy partners. Completely brand new to the Ford game with my 2006 e250 4.6l. Just bought it and checking it out. With the doghouse off I quickly noticed this open port on the passenger side of the intake manifold. I’ve had no luck searching for explanations, probably just using the wrong verbiage. What I gather is that some models have a heater hose coming off of this area. The van runs smoothly,
just hoping for some clarification. Thanks in advance, super excited about this soon to be camper/track car tower!
1 don't worry.
2 its not open.
BASICALLY Ford is lazy so the heads are just a flipped version of the other side. This is how its supposed to look.
Im rebuilding mine and i found a thread about it so now you know.
Man I get it from a manufacturing stand point but it looks so wrong!
so take a razor blade to it and fill the gap visually with RTV... someone who knows what they are looking at will see that is face palm years from now!
