1966 c600 missing vin

Hi , I recently purchased this great 1966 C600 and while I have a title, the truck itself lacks a vin or warranty plate.
I've checked the tops of the frame rails I have access to(according to the internet), and the warranty plate location on the door has rivet holes but no plate.
Any ideas for me ?

I can't find anything specific to the C series from your era.

Mid '50s are on the frame rail, pretty much as indicated here:

Keep looking, use a mirror, tilt that cab, scrape that grease and rust. Check cross members, check inside the frame rail.
