I NEED HELP

can a gen 3 5.0 motor fit in my 2013 f150? what will i have to do to make it happen?

Can I ask why you would want to? The gen 1 was extremely reliable. If you are determined to do it then I would think that the wiring harness and ecm would need changed because they are different motors and share very few parts. Not even sure if you could get it to mount out to the six speed transmission either, unless your swapping to a ten speed. In that case you’d need different driveshafts, transfer case (if 4wd) and any brackets to make the swap. Additionally I’m not sure how much of the exhaust would be the same either. Personally I would stay with a gen 1 engine. A swap to a 15-17 5.0 (not sure if that’s still considered gen 1or 2) might be simpler. If you do the swap please post updates and best of luck.
