My 58 gallon Transflow which has been fine until today when I went to fill it. I could only pump less than a gallon when the pump shut off and gas backed-up from the filler tube. My guess is a venting problem. Has anyone had this problem and how did they solve it? I guess I’ll have to call Transflow on Monday. Thanks
That's why I said snake it out, run a stiff wire through it to see if anything is blocking it.
Just my suggestion, but I don't know exactly how the transfer flow tank vent is setup.

Not yet. Someone from the Tremor forum said it happened to him and he said he filled it slowly. I haven't been back to gas station to try it yet. Any ideas?
I would confirm it’s your tank that is at fault. There is a good chance that particular pump nozzle was the problem. I have a sports car that doesn’t like certain pumps and constantly clicks off other stations it will work fine. Not sure what state you are in but here in CA we have the anti-backsplash/vapor pumps which make it tough at times. Bottom line double check your problem it may not be your tank.
Yes - my jeep does the same thing at certain pumps, but what concerns is that there is splash back and overflow out of the filler pipe even after the pump clicks off.
Well, I went to fill up, really feathered the pump and got it filled up. Took me about 20 minutes standing there. Don't know why the change - I've filled it about 10 times and never had this issue. Cheers
I assume this was a different fuel station from the last time when you had the problem? If so my guess would be the vent side as others have mentioned. Maybe reach out to the manufacturer as well?
It was the same station but a different pump. I carefully watched the 2 vent holes to make sure the weren't blocked and air was being exhausted. I probably should reach out to transferflow. Cheers
