Over my pay grade

I have a 66 f100 that I have changed out the original 1 pot master cylinder to a 2 pot master cylinder and also added a brake booster. When I take her out for ride ,upon returning my MC is leaking fluid from the front pot because even with a new gasket the back pot is loosing fluid to the front pot. Anyone know what my
problem could be and what I need to do to correct it?

did you separate the circuits with one line going to front and one to rear?
front reservoir is for rear brakes, rear is for front brakes.

Sounds like a bumm master cyl. Only way I see that happening is if debris is in the rear bowl plunger area. Fluid flows in, you use the brakes and the trash then plugs the return opening. With pressure on the rear area but none on the front fluid over powers the seal for the front and returns to the front res. It truly should not be able to do that... Replace it...

Just my opinion, see a what the rest of the members say.

Tom said it! Time to replumb and separate the front from the rear. Dont forget a proportioning valve for the rear. Do Not use anything from the old system, NOTHING!
