I just added a Pedal Commander to my 2019 F350 with the 6.7
I was talking to a friend that has a 2015 F350 that does a lot of traveling. And I mentioned the lag in the throttle response on my truck. He said he had the same issue and had installed a Pedal Commander and that solved the issue and greatly improved the performance of the truck.
I noticed the difference as soon as I pulled out of my driveway. No more lag in throttle response, the truck seems much more responsive. It has several different settings for different driving situations which I haven't yet experimented with yet.
Has anyone else had any experience with the Pedal Commander?

I have a 2015 and installed a Banks Pedal Monster. It probably does basically the same thing. Got rid of the lag in response and "dead pedal" feel.
I'm running it combined with their Derringer tuner and I'm happy with the performance improvement for a non-deleted truck.
I agree that they both probably do the same thing. I didn't like the lagging response in the pedal and the Pedal Commander certainly resolved the issue

I agree. The "drive by wire" pedal in stock form is lame. lol

Absolutely... but to the OP, I'd see if the Pedal Commander has a built in safety (like the Pedal Monster has) that will bypass it and revert to back to the factory pedal control in case the PC goes dead. If not, you'll have a dead throttle.
I did not know that. I only went on what my friends recommendation.
The Banks Pedal Monster has a built in safety bypass that if the PM were to go dead, it bypasses the PM and reverts back to the stock ECM throttle control maintaining the control of the throttle. Just something to think about is all... especially if you pull a load.

Does this unit default to stock settings when shifting into reverse like the Banks PM does?
With my 6.0 tuning the PCM and FICM completely removed the lag. Maybe that’s all that’s needed.
Deleting and tuning the 6.7 will more than likely get rid of the dead pedal feel of the drive by wire electronic throttle control, I personally do not have experience with that, but emissions on tuning will not remove the factory built in lag, or torque management, of the system... @speakerfritz talked about driving with the Banks PM in stock setting, with the Banks Derringer tuner installed, and the lag was still there.
From here, "What's the difference between the Derringer and the PedalMonster?
Derringer and PedalMonster are designed to work together as a system to enhance the driving experience, or they can be used independently. Derringer, as mentioned above, is an OBD-II connected inline tuner that provides impressive, safe, and reliable horsepower and torque. PedalMonster is patented a throttle sensitivity controller that dramatically improves driveability by allowing the user to customize the vehicle's response thanks to its 30 distinctly different levels of sensitivity. In simple terms, it eliminates the pedal's mushy feel and provides an improved throttle response. PedalMonster is the world's only throttle controller with Active Safety watchdog circuitry and Reverse Safety. Unlike all other throttle controllers, PedalMonster is connected via OBD. Thanks to this umbilical-like connection to the vehicle's ECM, it knows speed, gear, and more. When you back up, PedalMonster seamlessly returns the vehicle to stock throttle response. PedalMonster also features Speed-Based Trim. The driver can customize how much-added sensitivity they desire below 10 mph. This is ideal for towing or driving in sand or snow. Best of all, PedalMonster is available for hundreds of cars and trucks."

Reason: Add to my comments
I picked up a Pedal Monster as a very knee jerk reaction early last year... I had wanted one for some time, but I was completely happy with the stock set up. Guess it's just my driving style... but one day, I came home and watched a video from ARod and next thing I knew I had a shipping number from Banks! LOL.
I did choose it over the Pedal Commander, the Solar pedal controller and others based on the fact that they all fall short in comparison to the Banks Pedal Monster. I am not paid by Banks, but their Pedal Monster has safety features built in that others just don't. That was more important to me.
I wish I had ask on here for recommendations before I bought my Pedal Commander.
Don't get me wrong, the Pedal Commander works great and defiantly eliminated and pedal lag, so far, I love it.
I just have concerns about some of the safety features when comparing now that am more informed.
