Esof Plug
The plug that plugs into the transfer case has a broken clip. It slips off now and again. Is it possible to replace just that part of the harness or is their another way to get it to stay on?

Is there a writeup on this? I'd like to do it but want to get all the parts together first before going for it.

Yes there is several if you do a search. It is a pretty straightforward swap. You need a manual shift NV271 transfer case with the correct input shaft, the shifter linkage, shift handle and shift boot. There is already a plate under the carpet that you can take off to run the shift handle through and the holes to screw the boot trim piece are already there also.
