For this I would just rent a truck when needed.
Unless you only have the one vehicle and use it for general daily use, general purpose and need a truck for that, Then the F150 will do the jon for you.
After reading a few more post and not really needing the "right truck" to pull this trailer as little and far as he dose he could keep what he has or even get a car and when he needs to move trailer hit up Uhaul and rent a truck.
When I bought my 81 Flare Side project and parts truck my puller of my open deck car trailer was in the shop.
I rented a Uhaul box truck as they were the only thing that would take my 2-5/16" ball, Uhaul is set up for 2".
It was way more truck than I needed to pull my car trailer but it got the job done.
I do like the "dial a friend" but I had just moved here and did not know anyone yet and why Uhaul truck.
