So I recently put in a hi beam/dimmer switch on my 1991 F250 4x2 from a junkyard truck (Motocraft) that's lasted a couple of days so far. I don't know how much longer it will last, it's the risk we take with junkyard parts. My factory manual mentions a 13a024-a, but so far I have found the SW-263; is that right?
Also, I had heard a buzz when my old dimmer switch had gone out (before I replaced it with this current one), so even though my headlight switch is working fine and I didnt see any fuses affected; I just want to think about the case that my headlight switch may go out at some point. Is it true that the SW-271 is a good part number to reference?
I do not know the EXACT specifics for your treuck, but .....
The complete number such as for example F1TZ - 13Ao24 - A is then cross referenced to a Motorcraft number such as SW 263 or SW 271.
The part numbers here that i have mentioned are not 100 % accurate.
