Raining Down My Back...

Almost got the oil changed before the rain started, got my back wet pouring the oil in!

Still need to do the fuel filters, that'll have to wait until later, maybe tomorrow.

TV at home crapped out, have a replacement coming today, then have to get the old one out.
Fun wrestling with a big tv all by myself...

I recently wrestled 2 big, old 29" CRT TVs out of my house, by myself, so I feel your pain. There was a free recycling event near me...got rid of a bed and back seat full of old electronics.
Glad to see that you have your truck back!!

Funny you should mention the TV's. used to be they were so heavy, you needed help moving. Now they are getting so big, you need to have them delivered like furniture. Just bought a 83". No way would that *safely* travel even in the back of the PU truck.

Back when I first bought my house, almost 25 years ago, new neighborhood, new neighbors, quite a few nice ones.
Now, they don't even wave back if you wave at them as they drive by.

Yeah, my TV is a 65", and it actually isn't real heavy, and the new one is supposed to be a few pounds lighter yet, just extremely cumbersome to lift, if it was any bigger I think I'd be SOL.
My original first time bought, flat screen TV, is an old Zenith plasma TV, only 42", still works great in the bedroom, but that sucker is HEAVY!!! Weighs half again as much as the much bigger 65" LED TV.

This just means the neighbor's are to close.

Guess if anyone needs rain at their house, they just need me to be there trying to work on my truck and it will start raining.
Rain stopped at my house, checked the radar and looked like I had a nice big window with no rain showing, so ran back out to start changing the fuel filters, got the water separator taken apart when it starts raining again!
So I hustle up as much as I can, get the old filter out of the lid, the new one back in and get the thing screwed back together.
Now, to wait for the next break in the rain so I can get the engine filter changed.
AARRRGGGHHH!!!

Well, shortly after my last comment, the rain stopped again and looking on the radar it wouldn't be for long, so I jumped back out and got the engine filter done, got it primed and cranked up, running fine, oil reminder reset, ready for the road again, which is good because I have another job this weekend.
As I was sitting in the truck priming the filters, I got a notification that my new TV would be delivered in about 6 minutes!
Right after the guy showed up in his personal pickup truck with my new TV laying in the open bed on a rainy day, the rain started again, turning my yard into a swamp. Oh well, outside work on truck done, new toy to play with inside the house!
So, for the last almost two hours I have been unwrapping and setting up the new TV and downloading the ROKU app to my phone.
The manufacturers always brag about how easy it is to setup their new TV's and other media tech junk, maybe I should have hired a 12 year old to do it for me, such a PITA!
But, it's up and running now too.

Note to self... Whenever we get into the next drought, call on Ltngdrvr to change his fuel filters.

I can’t fit all of my F-250 into my attached garage, but at least I can fit about 2/3 of it inside for oil changes and filter replacements.

I’m pretty sure that you’re the most negative guy on this forum. I truly hope you have a good day at some point and take the time to post about it on here

even better reason to flag them down and ask for help! Get to know them or if they don't like you you'll get the big F U to your face.
