Hi everyone, here’s an update !






this is the part I was dreading the most and for good reason! It’s hard putting one of these big 7.3s in the van chassis! Not something I want to do again !

everything went well for the most part. I dinged up the corners of my valves covers. Managed to remove it without damaging the valves covers though… weird

Also had an issue getting the transmission to line up. Could not get the torque converter bolts to line up with the flex plate! And I would adjust it a little bit and it would be on the opposite side of the hole! Had to do that 3 or 4 times before it finally lined up and set into place.

motor mounts are secured, transmission is secured.

Time to have a beer!
