Turboed Clevo?

I'ver been toying around with the idea of findindg a turbo for my cleveland that going into my truck. I was thinking that i might get a turbo off a 87'-88' turbo t-bird (because its complete to intercooler to turbo, and i know where i can get the whole car for like 400 bucks.(my dad can use the rear axle in a project to) I would rebuild the turbo for sense of mind, and i would change the impeller/compessor wheels to suit the increased displaced. But i don't know if this turbo is big enough. Also how will would me (73 4v) clevo respond to this? Or should i get a larger turbo?

BTW, I know all the mods that i will have to do to the motor for thte turbo.

5.8L takes a big turbo.

There is a new turbo forum here, you might want to post there.

get a matching turbo to the one the tbird has and run twin turbos just make sure to run a adjusable waste gate, you dont want too much boost. also you can get huge turbos at truck wrecking yards (big trucks semis and stuff) really cheap if you want to run one huge one
