Whoops!!

As I was changing my I.A.C. I happened to drop a bolt, and then proceeded to lose my magnet to the same black hole that swallowed the bolt! I imagine they are laying inthe valley pan below the intake. Any one had an luck trying to get anything out of there without removing the intake?

I did the exact same thing.... Never did find it..... Went and bought another bolt. Bring the other one with you to match it up. Remember, they're metric...

Some tool shops have long "grabbers" Look like a long (2 foot)gooseneck with a claw at the end. The claw opens and closes fron the handle being squeezed.

You can weasle one of these things into any hole about 1/2 inch or bigger. Then if you can twist and turn it til you find the lost object, It can then grab it and pull it out.

I have used one of these things for many many years and it has saved my rear uncountable times.

There are also magnet ones but they don't work on everything. The claw can grab anything that will fit.

Good Luck,
