Is AFE Standard Filter Good Enough?

I just installed an aFE filter assembly. After looking at some other sites and this one, it seems that the standard cotton element on the aFE filter provides questionable levels of filtration. The recommendation seems to be to get the Pro-Guard 7 replacement element. Does anybody know how good or bad the standard cotton element is? And does anybody know where to get a Pro-Guard 7 replacement element online? Good Price?

The AFE standard is fine. Particularly if most of your driving is street. If you want to switch to the PG7, you're looking at about $75. You can get one at ITP online.

Thanks, it sure runs great.. the filter, tuner and exhaust has really changed the truck.
