Hey guys went to install the 4x4 shifter assembly on the side of my transmission it’s an 1997 hd f250 automatic and won’t bolt up believe I am missing a bracket that the selector mounts to can someone give the proper name or part number for this bracket so that I can locate one
in the picture attached(hopefully it attached I need the bracket I think please help thanks and does anybody know the bolt size and thread in the picture they mount the bracket I assume
If you mean the piece in the lower right corner of your picture, I just so happened to take a picture of the part number from my truck (1996 F250). It’s kind of tough to make out because of rust, but it looks like it includes “F6TA-7E06”. The piece is also unmistakably stamped with “E4OD”, but it works just fine on the ZF S5-42 that I swapped in.
I’ll see if I can post a picture tomorrow after work so you can read the rusty tea leaves yourself, but it’s too late for me to figure it out tonight.
