Hey guys. Just got a 1990 f250 and have been slowly fixing it up. The plastic tab behind the temp lever broke so the cable doesn't move. Tried tying it down but doesn't work well. Can't seem to find a reman cable. Does anyone still make it?
eBay is the only place I've seen the control units. I used a large tyrap to hold mine. The tyrap is about a quarter inch wide. Also, be sure the hardware at the other end of the cable is free to move. Mine wasn't, and I bent the cable at the control end, and had to straighten it.
