Cutting out at light throttle
1990 F250 351W 4x4. The truck idles fine & accelerates OK it's just when I'm cruising at light throttle that it cuts out. It feels like it's electrical as it's a quick on-off. I've replaced the TPS, EGR position sensor. Plugs,wires,& coil are < a year old. Ignition switch is new. Wiggled the hell out of all wires. Fuel pressure's OK w/new pump in the front tank. This has been going on for years so I'll replace something & it seems to clear up only to return. Maybe the MAP?

Somewhere else I heard the PIP mentioned. Not knowing what that was, I looked it up & determined that it was the sender in the dist. I changed it out & it seems to have done the trick. I'm use to the DS II systems that are pretty much bullet proof so that's the last place I thought of looking. Many years of frustration with this one.
