I am on the local fire department, and recently had a call on a very windy road my truck was above the scene and around a blind corner running lights.. or so I thought. Seems it shut down after half an hour and i was un aware. My dealer said I should be able to change it in settings to stay on, but would have to do it each time the truck is shut off. All i can seem to do is set it for a maximum of 30 minutes. These trucks are sold to highway crews, fire departments, police departments, paving crews, the list goes on, there must be some way to disable this shutdown timer. Not prepared to believe everyone either lives with it or buys Forscan.
Help!
There is a video being shared on the forums of one guys work around for this. After it's wired up you wouldn't have to do anything. The alternative is to set an elevated idle (SEIC) that you would switch on each time prior to leaving the truck.

Currently working on "finding" the resolution to disable in ForScan.

I found this in the forscan forums and also it seems that you suggested this solution previously. Do you know if this has been confirmed to work with the 2023s or is it only for the 2017-2022 trucks?
I have the same exact issue with my 2023 F250 with the 8 inch display and 6.8L Gas. I do some storm spotting in the area and have basic warning lights (white and amber) front and (red and amber) for rear, 30 minutes isn't enough. My menu does not allow me to disable this feature.
The 2024 doesn't even have the option to chose time. There is nothing. My 19 you could cancel the shutdown but after a restart it would default to that again.
There are utube videos of by pass modules sold to install for this.
I saw an option to remove the idle shutdown timer in the options menu on the 24' 7.3L Tremor I'm driving at the moment.
I can tell you I've checked everywhere in my 24 XLT. I did have it in my 19 Lariet. Just like the Temor comes with both locking hubs this option must be a Tremor thing.
