Morning everyone. 2006 f150 had the rear of the frame replaced due to rot! Now I have absolutely no lights. Front rear dash , no lights whatsoever. Besides fuses where would you start and no it can't go back to the place that did the frame.
Without being there, I know there’s a harness that runs down the driver’s side frame rail that goes to the trailer harness plug and also branches off to the rear lights.
That may have not been plugged in.
Depending on the initial damage, a fuse (the number escapes me) may have blown.
When I had my ‘08 SCrew, I stopped a kid driving for the first time on his own in his momma’s PT Cruiser with my rear bumper. One of the license plate lights fell out and the two now loose hanging terminals shorted out on the bumper. No lights other than…maybe headlights until I fixed that.
My response is no headlights either, if that one harness wasn't plugged back in would that also affect the headlights or just what's after the harness?
You gave no indication that you'd actually checked any fuses. You don't have to check all of them, just the ones that relate to the stuff that doesn't work.
Start by specifically checking fuse F06 under the dash. If open, it will take out headlights, parking lights, and the instrument cluster illumination.
Stop lamps are on fuse F13.
Hazards are on fuse F02.
