A 2 part question. Wondering what you think of the quality / sharpness of the camera's / display. I think it's fair at best. The bed camera, the display is very grainy, as well as the tailgate camera. Over all I don't think it's close to a 480p. Compared to our Bolt I'd say the Bolt's display and camera's are 2-3x sharper. And I've cleaned all the lenses, made no difference.
This is a camper camera question. Have a Keystone that has the built in wiring for a backup camera. Is there a way to get the display in the truck to match up with it? Keystone says they don't know, they sell the camera along with a display you have to mount in the truck. Don't want that mess if possible.
Ford offers a trailer camera hookup, but it would be a chore to add it to a truck that didn't come with it.
My suggestion would just to use Keystone's kit with the included display, mount it on top of the dash or something similar.
The Ford trailer camera is excellent. it does take a bit of work to run wires to it, but it is far superior to the Furrion crap camera I replaced with it. Seems high res to me when towing my RV.
My truck has the rear trailer camera settings, I was wondering if it would work with the Keystone camera. Or if the Ford camera would work with the Keystone hookup.

If the camera will plug into the connector next to the trailer connector it should work.
If the trailer camera is wireless, then I doubt it.
Ford trucks run their camera system thru the 12 pin plug. ( which also has the TPMS and YAW wiring) Camera is only using two wires. So you would just need to splice in the Keystone camera wires into the Ford harness.
On my new 2023 truck, I've noticed all the Back facing cameras work while driving. ie CHMSL, back bumper and the Trailer camera.
I use the back trailer camera when I back the trailer into it's parking spot at home. But I'm looking into a switch that could change to a camera in my horse trailer to check on the horses while driving.
I don't want a second display on the dash. Nor running all new wires to a second camera. If I can find a wireless switch, that I can activate with a remote in the cab, would be ideal
