2018 Electrical problems
Middle of June lost alternator, local dealer replaced alternator and battery. 30 days later started getting the following messages, "hood Ajar", collision assistance not working, No r/h front headlight or turn signals, no horn, no adaptive cruise, no auto start. and an occasional over heating alarm. Have disconnected and re connected the battery, helped one time. A trip to the dealer, 3 hrs diag. time and $6xx.00 and they wanted to start replacing all the components. Driving home this last week and everything worked fine for 10 minutes and then started getting the same display messages.. Have some suggested loose wiring/ground. I would have thought so but where do i START! thanks, Truck had 99K on original alternator and battery.

Welcome to FTE can-do-man,
Try checking the ground cable, both ends to make sure that is is not lose. If you see any corrosion on it that goes under the insulation, replace it.
But it sounds more like you could have a pinched wiring harness somewhere near the front of the truck. Has it ever been in a wreck?

It has not been wrecked. I will check the cables.
