So I pulled my excursion in today to work on the brakes, was walking around the front and noticed a trail of drops on the floor. Looked underneath and noticed coolant dripping profusely from the back, passenger side of motor, all the way down onto the starter then to the floor. Anyways it quit dripping after about 5 minutes. I started it back up and watched it just leak a bunch of coolant coming from the same spot. There is nothing in the valley other then some oil but we will save that for another time. And it also isn’t coming from the heater hoses or whatever people were calling them. I’m not sure what it could be, any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
If it definitely isn't the heater hoses that only leaves the heater core or a blown head gasket doesn't it? You could try pressurizing the system so maybe you could track it without the engine noise.
Looked at all heater hoses except the far left one which I believe is the pressure side of front heater core. Leak traced up to back top right of block above right of freeze plug. No pressure test yet.
