Salutations all: Just joined the forum today after doing a google search and finding posts about the 1952 Magic Air heater. My son and I are working on a 1952 Ford F1 Five Star Deluxe pickup that I acquired in 1995. After 25 years of it sitting along side the garage my son decided it was about time to update it and put it back together. When I acquired the truck it had been sitting for 5 years after the owner blew up the engine. The engine was not re-build-able and the truck was missing all kinds of unessential parts. Combing local swap meets and nearby wrecking yards I have acquired manuals and a few of the missing parts, but we are lacking knowledge on how some of these items are restored, go back together, or are installed. The Magic Air heater being the focus at the moment. I have been an avid fan of the Ford Flathead V8 for over 60 years and have owned a number of project cars and trucks. My current stable consists of the '52 F1 and a 1947 Ford Club Coupe. Both are powered by a 265 cubic inch Flathead V8 with Edelbrock speed equipment.
